The exam period can be intense, and feelings of stress, loneliness, or overwhelm are more common than we often admit. At Semmelweis University, we would like to remind you that your mental well-being matters – just as much as your academic performance.

Taking care of yourself doesn’t have to mean big changes. Sometimes it’s the small, everyday steps that help the most:
meeting a friend, going for a short walk, keeping a simple daily routine, cooking together, or taking a moment to rest and recharge.
If you feel like you could use a safe, judgement-free space to talk, listen, or simply connect with others, the Peer-Led Mental Well-Being & Support Group is open to you. The group is run by fellow students who understand the challenges of medical school and believe in the power of students supporting students.
And if you or someone you know feels severely overwhelmed, professional help is always available. You don’t have to go through difficult moments alone.
💬 Connection, care, and community can make a real difference.
