We are delighted to share that Zsófi successfully defended her MSc thesis and passed her final exams. Her thesis, entitled “Live-cell Imaging of Neuronal Autophagy During Aging in Directly Reprogrammed Human Neurons,” focused on investigating age-related changes in autophagy using our human neuron reprogramming platform. We are especially pleased that Zsófi will continue her scientific journey with us as a PhD student starting this September. Her dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work throughout her MSc studies have been truly impressive, and we are very proud of her achievements.A special congratulations also goes to Roland Zsoldos, who supervised the project. Conducting excellent research is one challenge; teaching, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation of scientists is another. This milestone is a testament to both Zsófi’s hard work and Roland’s commitment as a supervisor.

We wish Zsófi continued success as she begins the next chapter of her research career!
