Anna and Vivi recently attended the 3rd MIA-Portugal Ageing Spring School in Coimbra, Portugal, an international event dedicated to the biology of ageing and age-related diseases. The conference brought together researchers and early-career scientists working on topics such as cellular ageing, DNA damage, neurodegeneration, cognitive decline, and the molecular mechanisms driving functional changes during ageing. During the meeting, Anna and Vivi presented their latest results in a poster session, providing an excellent opportunity to discuss their work with an international scientific audience. Beyond the scientific programme, the event created a valuable space for networking, exchanging ideas, and building new connections with researchers and students from diverse scientific backgrounds.
