Petra is a first-year MSc student in Neuroscience at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE). Her Bachelor’s thesis focused on neurodegeneration, which sparked her lasting interest in the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying brain disorders. In the lab, she works on a co-culture model combining induced neurons and organotypic human brain slices, aiming to develop human-relevant systems to study neurodegeneration. In her free time, Petra enjoys reading, going for walks, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
