We were happy to take part in UniStem Day 2026, where we had the opportunity to bring stem cell biology, neuroscience, and laboratory research closer to students through both discussion and hands-on experience. In the morning, Karolina joined the panel discussion at CEU, contributing to the conversation on stem cell research and its broader scientific and societal relevance. In the afternoon, our Semmelweis research groups hosted a series of interactive workshops for more than 60 students, introducing them to topics such as cell sorting, laboratory methods, and neuronal activity measurements.

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet so many curious young participants, share what we do in the lab, and hopefully inspire some future scientists. We are proud to contribute to events like UniStem Day that strengthen the connection between research and society.
