Anna recently participated as a speaker at a Science Café event in Szeged, organized by HCEMM, aiming to make cutting-edge brain research more accessible to the public through informal scientific discussions. Her talk, “From Skin Cell to Neuron – An Introduction to Cellular Reprogramming,” introduced the audience to the fascinating world of induced neurons (iN). She explained how this technology can be used to study neurobiological aging and neurodegenerative diseases, offering new ways to explore the cellular mechanisms behind brain decline. The event created a space for open dialogue between scientists and the public, strengthening science communication around aging and brain health.
