Karolina took part in the public presentation of a comprehensive new survey on the situation of Hungarian researchers, organized jointly by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) and the Hungarian Young Academy (FKA). The survey explored the working conditions, career perspectives, wellbeing, and expectations of researchers in Hungary and those with ties to the country, drawing responses from more than five thousand participants.

Júlia Koltai (FKA member) presented the background and first results, which highlighted key issues such as researchers’ satisfaction, career uncertainty, and the need for improved support structures. The event underlined the importance of evidence‑based insight into the research ecosystem for shaping policies that strengthen scientific careers and institutional frameworks.
