Karolina and Vivien participated in the Healthy Living Symposium, an event that brought together cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary perspectives on health, aging, and prevention. The program featured keynote talks from leading experts such as Paul Matthews and Lars Nyberg, who discussed the role of biobanks and longitudinal studies in identifying early biological and environmental changes before disease onset. Sessions also covered lifestyle interventions for brain health, including the effects of diet, physical activity, and social engagement, and recent developments in epigenetic aging clocks, including a talk by Csaba Kerepesi, with whom we jointly lead the HUN-REN–SZTAKI–Semmelweis Rejuvenation Lab. Sessions also covered integration of AI and data-driven systems in predicting disease risk and tailoring personalized healthcare strategies. In addition to engaging with the scientific program, Karolina and Vivi presented their latest findings during the poster session, receiving valuable feedback from fellow researchers.
