Visit of Dr. Magdalena Czeredys – Advancing Collaboration in Huntington’s Disease Research
We were pleased to host Dr. habil. Magdalena Czeredys, a leading neuroscientist from the Mossakowski Medical Research Institute, for a week-long visit. During her stay, she delivered a scientific lecture titled “Investigating calcium signaling dysregulation in Huntington’s Disease using patient-derived fibroblasts, 2D/3D iPSC models, and YAC128 transgenic mice.” Dr. Czeredys also met with members of our research group to discuss future collaborations combining her expertise in iPSCs and organoid models with our direct reprogramming approaches. The visit marked the beginning of promising joint efforts aimed at developing advanced cellular models for Huntington’s disease research.
