From July 7–9, Semmelweis University’s Doctoral School hosted the annual PhD Scientific Days at the Basic Medical Science Center, Translational Medicine Institute. The event was opened by our Institutes head Prof Zoltán Benyó, Head of the Doctoral School, who highlighted that this year’s event was the largest to date. He emphasized that each participant represents the future of their respective scientific fields. In total, 184 oral presentations and 294 posters were presented across 55 sections.

Our lab was well-represented throughout the event, with one or more of our members presenting each day.
