Kinga had the opportunity to participate in the 5th EMBL Partnership Conference: AI in One Health.
The Young Investigator Meeting featured an excellent workshop focused on managing workplace conflicts and preventing burnout. They had the chance to connect with other PhD students and postdocs from EMBL Partnership Labs, sharing the highs and lows of research journeys, lab challenges, and personal achievements.
In the afternoon, Kinga presented the highlights of her poster during the flash talk session, which sparked engaging discussions during the subsequent poster session.
The conference centered on the role of AI in disease research, diagnostics, and therapeutic design. Presentations showcased how AI can be trained to detect cancer cells in breast tissue samples, and how it can assist in predicting effective antibiotic combinations.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience to meet EMBL partners and explore the exciting work happening across the different groups.
