Ági had the opportunity, thanks to HCEMM, to participate in the EMBO Laboratory Leadership Course in Szeged. The three-day program was led by two outstanding instructors, Melanie Glickman and Mette Hvied Lauesen, who provided an inspiring and highly practical learning experience.

Throughout the course, Ági explored various leadership models and techniques aimed at fostering effective team building and creating a positive work environment. Engaging discussions, hands-on group exercises, and interactive sessions allowed her to deepen her understanding of key topics such as leadership, lab roles, workplace dynamics, personality types, emotional intelligence, motivation, feedback, communication, conflict resolution, delegation, and team dynamics.

We are grateful for this opportunity, as the course offered valuable insights into teamwork and communication. The knowledge and skills Ági gained will undoubtedly support her in her role as a core facility manager and lab member, helping her contribute to a more efficient and collaborative work environment.
