This year we had many things to celebrate: Anna and Balázs officially started their PhD, attended various conferences and presented posters and gave talks, Lea received an amazing grant from HDSA and also tackled to present in Karolina’s name at the EMBL Partnership conference, our first paper was accepted where Bendegúz was the first author, Ági established the FACS Core, Pálma and Ági are successfully running the Vector Core, which had its first official order by BRC during summer, Kinga successfully received an amazing fellowship which gave her the opportunity to spend some time in Canada, Dorina started a great new journey by accepting a job, Roland is making sure for all of us that we can work mycoplasma free and we cannot be grateful enough for him for that and and we have a wonderful new member in the group another Kinga (this 2 Kinga issue we need to solve somehow) who will come and start her journey with us in February. And obviously there is a million more things to be cheerful about! So lets enjoy the holidays and have a little break and celebrate!
As a junior PI I am immensely grateful to have such an amazing team of young motivated people and I am very much looking forward to continue this new and exciting journey in 2023!
