Our research group has recently started a collaboration with MikroVákuum Ltd, focusing on utilizing their innovative Optical Waveguide Lightmode Spectroscopy (OWLS) device.
OWLS is a highly sensitive biosensor platform, designes to detect molecular interactions in real-time. Its working principle is based on optical waveguide technology, where changes in light propagation are used to monitor biomolecular events with high precision. This partnership will allow us to complement our knowledge of the cellular and molecular pathway of tissue fibrosis, gained through molecular biological techniques, with phisycochemical investigations.
