Réka Rokonay, a former PhD student of our research group completed her PhD studies at Semmelweis University, Károly Rácz Doctoral School of Clinical Medicine and graduated summa cum laude.
The title of Rita’s dissertation was Role of interleukin-24 in the pathomechanism of coeliac disease. During her research work, Réka was co-author of 8 scientific articles published in prestigious international journals. Her first-authored article, entitled Role of IL-24 in the mucosal remodeling of children with coeliac disease was published in BMC Journal of Translational Medicine (IF: 5.531). Réka’s supervisor was Ádám Vannay.
