OVERVIEW
The removal of wisdom teeth is a routine part of dental and oral surgical practice. Patient care, from a practical standpoint, involves dentistry, dentoalveolar surgery, maxillofacial surgery and otolaryngology.
Patients are most often treated on an outpatient basis, however, there may be numerous cases requiring intervention under general anesthesia. Careful selection of the treatment plan, anesthesia, and surgical technique is a crucial issue. This includes a thorough knowledge of various imaging diagnostic tools.
The course aims to provide dental practitioners, and oral surgeons with a detailed understanding of the surgical challenges involved in the removal of wisdom teeth, based on presentations and practical knowledge provided.
The course is combined of 40 % theoretical part and 60 %t practical part.
