The Richter Department was established at Semmelweis University in September 2023 by the joint decision of Gedeon Richter Plc. and Semmelweis University. The educational work of the full-time employees of the Department and their assistants working in the pharmaceutical industry aims to transfer to Semmelweis University the significant drug research experience and skills accumulated at Richter.
Our main goal is to provide students with tools and knowledge to evaluate the impact of drugs on the market by familiarizing students with the discovery and development process of medicines. Understanding all this is important because good practice in drug use is a complex process with many components; The application of all these at the level of the age represents significant added value for the successful application of medical and pharmaceutical sciences.
