About us
We investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying inflammatory diseases and the function of hematopoietic-origin cells, with the aim to identify novel therapeutic targets.
Our primary goal is to understand the molecular basis of inflammatory conditions affecting various organs. We study autoimmune and non-autoimmune inflammatory diseases of the joints, skin, and kidneys, with particular emphasis on intracellular signaling in innate immune cells. We also investigate the molecular mechanisms of pathological bone resorption. We utilize various in vitro and in vivo models, and state-of-the-art advanced genetic tools.
