What we offer
- There is an opportunity for culture and investigation of different types of cardiomyocytes and other cell cultures
- Drug toxicity, viability, apoptosis, and other molecular assays can be performed in the cultures using molecular biology instruments
- Fluorescence-based sorting is available on a new generation chip-based sorter
Why work with us
The primary objectives of the cell culture core facility are:
- to use innovative R&D platforms based on in vitro experimental models for the treatment of ischemic heart disease and heart failure, to identify therapeutic molecular targets
- to detect hidden cardiotoxicity of drug therapies
- to perform oncopharmacological research
- to operate a cell-derived exosome isolation platform, fluorescence-based cell sorting
OUR equipments
- Laminar hoods for primary cells and cell lines
separately standard CO2 incubator - Tri-gas incubator (hypoxic chamber)
- Thermo Varioscan LUX multimode microplate reader
- Autoclave, Tuttnauer
- VACUSAFE Aspiration System
