Péter Radeczky (MD, PhD) obtained his general medical degree in 2013. In 2019, he passed his specialist exam in thoracic surgery. He obtained his PhD in 2022 and his degree in health management in 2023. In 2025, he completed the Clinical Science Scholars at Semmelweis Program at Harvard University and obtained the Fellowship of the Unified European Board of Thoracic Surgery (FUEBTS) qualification.
He has been working at the Thoracic Surgery Department of the National Institute of Oncology since 2013, currently in the position of chief physician. Since 2017, he has also been working at the Thoracic Surgery Clinic of Semmelweis University, currently as deputy director of the clinic. He participates in undergraduate and postgraduate training in Hungarian, English, and German.
In 2022, the Thoracic Surgery Clinic joined the Semmelweis University Institute of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology in organizing and conducting hands-on cadaver courses in thoracic surgery.
In 2022, prior to the training courses, he prepared and carried out the procurement of the special equipment required for the thoracic surgery training courses.
