Attila Márta was honored with the Excellent Staff Member Award by the Centre for Translational Medicine.

Attila recently improved CTM’s website section that allows users to search for student profiles easily. Thanks to this, now anybody can get an insight into the research a particular student is working on and their progress. The site already offers a keyword search feature, which is also a huge help for those who want to find information about research at CTM.

“I also helped with the launch of CTM’s podcast. In recent months, for example, we had a podcast hosted by Dezső Csupor, featuring Prof. Zsolt Molnár, head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy at Semmelweis University; psychologist Tibor Fehér; and child and adolescent clinical psychologist Dóra Bodócs. They discussed how to build trust and collaboration between patients and healthcare professionals. I not only assist with the recording of the podcasts but also participate in the post-production work. For example, I create short videos from the podcasts.” Attila is involved in preparations for an international webinar called Sip of Science, which is hosted biweekly by Prof. Zsolt Molnár. This is a scientific presentation series that focuses on intensive care. In a recent session of this webinar, Chilean researchers who were visiting Semmelweis University as guests gave live presentations.

Attila is in charge of compiling the newsletter that subscribers receive monthly. It contains information about the latest news and events at CTM, as well as researchers’ recently published scientific papers. As the host of the online platforms, Attila helps conduct Ph.D. admissions interviews. He also participates in student recruitment and in organizing recruitment events. He helped launch the chatbot on CTM’s website, providing information to students. “This chatbot primarily provides quick and efficient answers to frequently asked questions from students who apply to our program. I participated in testing and designing the system’s interface, and I also monitor its operation.
