This year\u2019s Dies Academicus at Semmelweis University marked a historic milestone: for the first time in the university\u2019s history, the number of newly conferred PhD graduates exceeded 200. Our institute proudly congratulates our new PhD holders, as well as our colleagues recognised with the Pro Educatione Prize for their outstanding contribution to doctoral and theoretical education.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the 2025 Dies Academicus ceremony, Semmelweis University celebrated a record number of new PhD graduates, with more than 200 candidates successfully obtaining their doctoral degree. Our institute is especially proud that many of our former and current students were among those honoured.<\/p>\n

We warmly congratulate all of them on their successful defence, their dedicated scientific work and the achievement of the PhD degree. We are proud that an important part of their research journey has been connected to our institute.<\/p>\n

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to our colleagues, Gergely Ag\u00f3cs<\/strong> and D\u00e1niel S\u00e1ndor Veres<\/strong>, who have been honoured with the Pro Educatione Prize<\/strong>, an award established by Semmelweis University to recognise outstanding contributions to theoretical and doctoral education. Their work as biostatisticians plays a key role in the success of our students and researchers.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Dies Academicus once again underlined that scientific excellence is built on the dedication of young researchers, the professional guidance of supervisors and the collaborative strength of the academic community.<\/p>\n
