She has created presentation packages, eye-catching social media posts and vibrant newsletter graphics. In April, Viktória Kocsis was named Staff Member of the Month at the Centre for Translational Medicine.

Viktória Kocsis started working at CTM in 2020, when it was still based in Pécs. When the Centre moved to Budapest, she stayed with the team and continued her creative work at Semmelweis University. “My tasks are wide-ranging. For example, I create graphics for publications or presentations for CTM staff, but I also make templates for students’ presentations, and figure out the design of the Project Book. Recently, we had a major project where I had to review and uniformize educational presentations. Sometimes, I receive requests from students. They usually ask me for help in making their presentation slides or articles more attractive by making diagrams or graphs. I’m passionate about creative work, and I like to take on new challenges.”

In her work, Viktória works closely with Dóra Czapári, Vice Director (Network & Communication), and she is also in contact with event coordinator Fanni Némethné Nobilis. She gives her a lot of graphic design work for CTM’s events. „For Progress Reports, I have to design program booklets, flyers and business cards. I also have a lot of tasks before the events to which Nobel laureates, or other distinguished guests of honor are invited. Regarding the creative content created for our social platforms, I also consult regularly with Attila Márta, who coordinates our online communication. I am also in contact with the year coordinators, who provide me with all important information and data for Project Books.”

Viktória often works under pressure and with tight deadlines, which is not ideal for creative work, but she always manages to get the tasks done, and the final result is always perfect. Getting instructions from everyone on time is essential to her, as it makes the work smoother and faster for everybody.

(Szabó Emese)

She is an incredibly talented graphic designer who has produced excellent visual content for dozens of events in recent months.
