The main objectives are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>acquiring advanced methodological knowledge,<\/li>\n<li>completing the projects required for the dissertation,<\/li>\n<li>for <strong>SMS students<\/strong>, practising the \u201cteaching by doing\u201d approach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"lead\">Mandatory events and deadlines<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Group meeting<\/strong> \u2013 every two weeks, compulsory for Accelerator and Excellent students.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project meeting<\/strong> \u2013 at least once a month, 1\u20132 per month during the manuscript-writing phase.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Progress Report<\/strong> \u2013 twice a year, mandatory for all students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>General rules:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The first paper must be submitted <strong>no later than the 5th Progress Report<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The statistical analysis of the second project must also be completed by the 5th Progress Report.<\/li>\n<li>The second paper must be finalised <strong>by the 6th Progress Report<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>All students are required to present their results at the Progress Reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"lead\">Support and infrastructure<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Methodological consultation:<\/strong> group meetings are led by experienced ESF and ESD consultants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Statistical support:<\/strong> the same statistics team assists all projects;
