Project Description:
Miklós Keszég is a resident orthopedic-traumatologist at Uzsoki Hospital, Orthopaedic and Trauma Department. He is working on a systematic review and meta-analysis regarding the long-term result of mosaic osteochondral autologous transplantation versus microfracture for the treatment of medium size osteochondral defects of the knee. His results could help in achieving a better long-term functional status after osteochondral defects. His second project will be a retrospective cohort study investigating the risk factors of patients who need revision arthroplasty. He intends to collect retrospective data on all patients undergoing knee or hip total arthroplasty, and compare demographic parameters, lifestyle factors, comorbidities, etc., between patients with and without the need for revision arthroplasty.
