Project Description:
Katalin is a neurology specialist doctor, and she plans to investigate the cognitive impairment in patients with multiple sclerosis. She will perform a systematic review and meta-analysis on the prevalence of cognitive impairment in the different clinical subtypes of multiple sclerosis. She also plans to start a multicentric longitudinal observational study investigating potential prognostic markers for the progression of cognitive impairment in patients with multiple sclerosis. The results of these studies will help in the early neurocognitive rehabilitation in subtypes with higher cognitive impairment prevalence.
