In the spring semester of 2025\/26, you can take the courses where you see the course Neptun code in the table below. You will also find the dates and the instructor of the courses in the Neptun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For the Introduction I and II courses<\/strong>, which are for complete beginners<\/strong>, English is used as a medium if the course is open for foreign students \u2013 this is always indicated at the language of the course in Neptun.
\nThe other courses (Language for Specific Purposes I-II-III-IV-(V) and Elementary Exam Preparation courses<\/strong>) are taught without a medium language. \u2013 At these courses you can see Hungarian as the language of instruction, but here the language of the course is the one you can study there (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian)<\/p>\n

For those who wish to take the Elementary Exam<\/strong> this semester, we recommend the Elementary Exam Preparation<\/strong> courses<\/strong>. Please, beware that the Preparation course is not a prerequisite for taking the Elementary Exam. They are two separate subjects in the Neptun! As a foreign student you can take the Elementary Exam in German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Russian \u2013 but not in English.<\/em><\/p>\n

Language for Specific Purposes I-II-III-IV-(V)<\/strong> courses can be taken in any order.<\/p>\n

The language level of each course <\/strong>is an indication of general language proficiency (not specialized), so please take the course that best suits your language level in the selected language:
\nA1 – complete beginner
\nA2 – below basic level
\nB1 – basic level
\nB2 \u2013 intermediate<\/p>\n

As for Advanced Hungarian<\/strong>, you can take these courses after completing the final exam of Hungarian.
