{"id":999,"date":"2015-11-06T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-11-05T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/symposium\/abstract-submission\/"},"modified":"2015-11-06T14:30:28","modified_gmt":"2015-11-06T13:30:28","slug":"abstract-submission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/symposium\/szimpozium-archiv\/semmelweis-symposium-2013\/abstract-submission\/","title":{"rendered":"Abstract submission"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 470px\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">All participants are invited to submit  abstracts on one of the topics listed below for presentation at the Semmelweis Symposium 2013.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Deadline for submission of abstracts:<\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">October 7, 2013<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Guidelines for preparation and submission of abstracts:<br \/>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>Abstracts may be submitted via internet only. Abstracts submitted via fax or e-mail will not be accepted. <\/li>\n<li>All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English using UK English spelling. <\/li>\n<li>The abstract text may not be longer than 2000 characters, including spaces. (excluding title, authors and affiliation) <\/li>\n<li>The background and goals of the study should appear clearly to the  reader. The methods and results must contain data, and the conclusions  must be clearly expressed. <\/li>\n<li>We request the following structure: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions.<\/li>\n<li>Tables, charts or other graphics may not be included and will be deleted by the editors. <\/li>\n<li>Avoid complex mathematical formulae. For the symbols \u2264 or \u2265 type  instead &lt;= or &gt;=. For superscript use caret (^) e.g. 10^6 instead  of 10<sup>6<\/sup>. Do not use Greek letters and symbols. Instead of \u2018IFN-\u03b3&#039; use for example \u2018IFN-g&#039; or \u2018IFN-gamma&#039;. <\/li>\n<li>All abbreviations must be defined the first time they appear in your  text (but, do not define in the title). Example: hereditary angioedema  (HAE), before being used as an abbreviation only.<\/li>\n<li>Authors should indicate their presentation preference:\n<ul>\n<li>oral \/ poster presentation <\/li>\n<li>poster only <\/li>\n<li>The scientific board of the Workshop reserves the right to decide on the final allocation and presentation method. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Please, indicate which topic(s) you prefer, by checking the appropriate boxes, maximum three options can be assigned. <\/li>\n<li>After having submitted your abstract, you will receive an  acknowledgement by e-mail, confirming the successful file upload (please  make sure to register with your correct e-mail address!). Should you  wish to make corrections to an abstract already submitted or if you wish  to submit other abstracts later, you may simply upload a new file.  Corrections to abstracts can only be made up to the deadline of <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">&#8230;<\/span>. If you do not receive a confirmation by e-mail please  contact the Abstract hotline. <\/li>\n<li>Abstracts will be subject to a blind peer review by at least 3 experts. <\/li>\n<li>Authors will be notified on acceptance in mid <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">&#8230;<\/span> by email.  Full instructions concerning the preparation and presentation of their  abstract will be given at this time. <\/li>\n<li>All presenting authors must register to attend the conference.
