Our rapidly expanding knowledge of genetics and molecular \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t biology is creating a stronger platform for us to move ahead into a \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t future in which care is more closely tailored than ever before. New \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t diagnostics for identifying disorders and new therapeutic possibilities \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t are most likely to obtain their benefits in healthcare. The anticipated \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t arrival of the $1,000 genome this year will accelerate even further the \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t changes that have begun.<\/h4>\n
The Semmelweis Symposium 2012<\/strong> is organized by the Prevention Module of the Research Project \u201eModern Medical Scientific Technologies at the Semmelweis University”<\/em>. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Six research groups all working in different areas of the Personalized \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Medicine, such as genomics, proteomics, immunomics, cardiology, \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t neurology, neurogenomics and pharmacogenomics invited leading scientists \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t who will show us the spectrum of personalized medicine.<\/h4>\n
