Following dissection, organotypic cultures are prepared and positioned on a membrane substrate. The cultures are maintained for prolonged durations of more than 200 days within a chemically defined serum-free medium, ensuring physiological relevance and viability over an extended investigative period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">We have established a robust system capable of maintaining numerous explants.
