Make sure your tuition fee is paid by the relevant deadline.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-884\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle inactive-semester\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> What happens to my student rights when I take an inactive semester?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Students taking an inactive semester are not entitled to the rights of active students. <em>(They cannot collect credit points or take any exams, their student card is not valid, etc.)<\/em><\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-883\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle inactive-semester\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> How many inactive semesters can I take in a row?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Students can take 2 inactive semesters in a row. After 2 inactive semesters, a student has to register to an active semester or else his\/her student status is terminated by dismissal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A special permission is needed for taking more than 2 inactive semesters in a row. <\/strong>Such a request must be duly justified e.g., by a mandatory military service or a severe health condition. The request should be submitted via email to the registrar with all the necessary documents (completed special permission request form with a draft\/conscription or medical records) and the permission can be given by the committee competent in educational and examinational affairs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-882\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle inactive-semester\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> How can I take an inactive semester?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>The semester is inactive and the student\u2019s status is suspended if the student does not register for the semester or withdraws his\/her registration or officially declares that he\/she does not wish to fulfill his\/her student obligations before the 30<sup>th<\/sup> day of the term-time. The semester may become inactive also if the student is prohibited from continuing to study as a disciplinary measure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In justified exceptional cases<\/strong>, the committee competent in educational and examinational affairs may, on one occasion during the whole training, authorize the ongoing active semester to be declared inactive after the 30<sup>th<\/sup> day of the term-time.
