What are some most important informations about the fifth and sixth years?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Please allow us to draw your attention to some important duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>5th year<\/strong><br \/>\nYou must <strong>complete 301 credit<\/strong> points until the end of the examination period of your 5th year.<br \/>\n<b>Be sure that you have completed all necessary summer practices, PE courses and they are administrated in your Neptun.<\/b><br \/>\nIf any of these are missing, the Neptun system will not allow any 6th year subjects and course registrations in the 1st semester of the relevant academic year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6th year<\/strong><br \/>\nYou must <strong>complete 360 credit<\/strong> points until the end of the examination period of your 6th year.<br \/>\nThe additional 59 credits are obtained from:<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0 \u00a039 credits<\/strong> &#8211; 6th year subjects<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0 \u00a020 credits<\/strong> &#8211; diploma work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6th year rotation:<\/strong><br \/>\nPlease follow one of the four program schedules. You can schedule your exams individually, using the exam dates on Neptun, from the fixed programs. Programs must not be mixed. Separate certificates must be filled for each specialty (e.g. one for Surgery, one for Traumatology etc.). Do we need acceptance letters for Budapest rotations?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>You need acceptance letters only for rotations abroad, not affiliated with Semmelweis University.<br \/>\nYou can see the accredited hospitals in Hungary in the following <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/registrar\/medicine\/rotation\/approved-institutes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">table<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-1064\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle 6-year\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> 2. How do we get permission to do rotations in a country not already approved by Semmelweis? (e.g. Cyprus) :\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Rotations can be done only at University Hospitals or Teaching Hospitals of EU countries.<br \/>\nA letter of acceptance must be presented and accepted by the relevant Semmelweis Department(s) before your practice.<br \/>\nThe document(s) has to be presented at the Directorate of International Studies 30 days prior to your rotation.<br \/>\nYou must attach the statement and competence list as well.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-1065\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle 6-year\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> 3. Can we prepare and present our thesis work this (6th) year? How much time do we have to finish the thesis?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>No, you need to present it in your 5th year.<\/p>\n<p>THESIS REPORT: The Department has to fill it out in 2 copies then you need to hand in one of the copies of the thesis report at the Directorate of International Studies latest by 10 July.<\/p>\n<p>The student must consult with the consultant at least three times:<br \/>\n&#8211; first: by no later than 1 October in the final year \u2013 The consultant informs the student on the requirements and topic choices;<br \/>\n&#8211; second: by no later than 15 November in the final year \u2013 The student reports on the work completed by that time;<br \/>\n&#8211; third: by no later than 1 January in the final year \u2013 the consultant evaluates the results of the student and gives advice on the finalization.<\/p>\n<p>The diploma work has to be submitted at the department by 15 January in the final year in 2 hard copies (or during pandemic only on CD).<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-1066\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle 6-year\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> 4. What procedure has to be done with the Letter of Acceptance, Log Books and Certificates?\t\t\t\t<\/h4>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-content\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>The \u201cLetter of Acceptance\u201d must first be downloaded.<br \/>\nThe \u201cLetter of acceptance\u201d must be presented at and signed by the competent department of Semmelweis University prior to any practice to be done at an external institution. <strong>The validated document should be handed in at the Directorate of International Studies one month before the beginning of the rotation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You may find the detailed information of the departments on the university&#8217;s website, e.g.: <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/registrar\/medicine\/#departments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">departments of the Faculty of Medicine<\/a> <small><i>(access to all departments)<\/i><\/small> or in the current <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/registrar\/information\/year-books\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Year Book<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div id=\"qaef-1067\" class=\"qe-faq-toggle 6-year\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"qe-toggle-title\">\n\t\t\t\t<h4>\n\t\t\t\t\t<i class=\"fa fa-minus-circle\"><\/i> 5.
