Dubrovnik Conference on Cognitive Science<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>16-19 May 2013, Dubrovnik, Croatia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>Sleep, neural oscillations and cognition<strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Central European Cognitive Science Association (CECOG)<\/strong> launches its fifth international conference in the historical town of Dubrovnik, Croatia. The Dubrovnik Conference on Cognitive Science (DuCog) is a small-medium size annual conference with up to 100 participants. Every year, a specific topic is covered by keynote speakers and invited speakers. The focus of the conference this year is <strong>sleep, neural oscillations and cognition.<\/strong> The program of the conference includes:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poster sessions<\/strong><em>: <\/em>The core of the conference will consist of research reports in the form of peer reviewed posters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keynote talks: <\/strong>The keynote talks concentrate on the keynote\u2019s own research, providing a general framework of the field. Keynote Speakers are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00b7 <strong>Gy\u00f6rgy Buzs\u00e1ki<\/strong> (Rutgers University, USA)<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 <strong>Peter Achermann<\/strong> (University of Z\u00fcrich, Switzerland)<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 <strong>Philippe Peigneux<\/strong> (Universit\u00e9 Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium)<\/li>\n<li>\u00b7 <strong>Victor Spoormaker<\/strong> (Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, Germany)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Invited speakers<\/strong><em>: <\/em>Invited speakers will provide a short talk reviewing their own recent research in the field of sleep, neural oscillations and cognition.
