Applicants will be selected on the basis of their previous research experience and upon their scientific merit and originality. <\/p>\n<p>One scholar per V4 country will be selected. <\/p>\n<p>Deadline for all scholarship applications is<strong> April 30, 2013.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/phd.semmelweis.hu\/palyazatok\/tajvani-osztondij-phd-hallgatok-reszere.html\/attachment\/tajvan\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2250\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2250 alignnone\" title=\"tajvan\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/phd\/files\/2013\/03\/tajvan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"519\" height=\"316\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can apply?<\/strong> <br \/>Phd candidates and Postdoctoral scholars who are citizens of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland or Slovakia. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Under what conditions can one apply?<\/strong> <br \/>1. Applicants must have a very good knowledge of <strong>English or Chinese<\/strong> both spoken and written. <br \/>2. At the time of applying the applicants must have<strong> finished at least Master\u2019s studies, be enrolled in PhD studies\/be in possession of a doctoral degree and be engaged in research activity in V4 countries<\/strong> <br \/>3. Applicants must be PhD candidates or Postdoctoral scholars in following <strong>thematic areas:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>a) Nanotechnology, <br \/>b) Electrotechnical industry, <br \/>c) Biotechnology, <br \/>d) Information Technology, <br \/>e) Tourism, <br \/>f) Social sciences and Humanities<\/p>\n<p> <strong>What\u2019s the length of the scholarship stay?<\/strong> <br \/>Each research stay is intended for a period of <strong>10 months.<\/strong> Successful applicants are eligible to re-apply, however, the Fund\u2019s maximum term of support is 20 months. <\/p>\n<p><strong>How much is the support?<\/strong> <br \/>If selected, each <strong>PhD candidate<\/strong> receives the scholarship of<strong> \u20ac750\/month<\/strong> and each <strong>Postdoctoral scholar \u20ac1000\/month<\/strong> at the beginning of each five-month period upon a written confirmation from the host university\/institution.
