\"\"<\/a>Stipendium Hungaricum (SH)<\/a>, the most prestigious higher education scholarship program of the Hungarian Government, offers a wide range of courses for international students of excellent academic track record. The scholarship aims to support the internationalization of the Hungarian higher education and its constant development, to strengthen international relations of the academic and research community, and to promote the good reputation and competitiveness of Hungarian higher education throughout the world. The program is managed by the Tempus Public Foundation.<\/p>\n

The program is based on bilateral educational cooperation agreements <\/strong>signed between the Ministries responsible for education in the sending countries\/territories and Hungary or between institutions.<\/p>\n

Apart from the tuition-free education, the Program provides monthly stipend, medical insurance and housing allowance<\/strong> for the scholarship holders.<\/p>\n

Doctoral Studies for SH applicants<\/h2>\n

Semmelweis University offers doctoral studies for Stipendium Hungaricum (SH) applicants.\u00a0<\/strong>Get more information about our programs BUT please note, that the deadlines and the application and admission procedure may differ<\/strong> from the non SH applicants. PhD studies in the Doctoral College can be started only having MSc\/MD degree.<\/span><\/p>\n

The admission process for applicants to the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship is the same as that of other applicants<\/a>, BUT the application period is different (see above), and the foundation managing the scholarship (Tempus) requires additional documents for the application (see below).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
