The invoice request form can be downloaded from the \u201dDownloadable documents\u201d menu on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/neptunweb.semmelweis.hu\/hallgato\/login.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Neptun homepage<\/a><\/strong> of the University website. The name of the form is \u201dSE_INVOICE REQUEST FORM\u201d. To prepare the invoice, the <em>invoice request form<\/em> needs to be filled out, scanned and sent to the <a href=\"mailto:neptun.penzugyiosztaly@semmelweis.hu\">neptun.penzugyiosztaly@semmelweis.hu<\/a> email address.<\/p>\n<p>The application fee can be paid by bank card initiated from the online admission interface, or by bank transfer based on the issued invoice. <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/phd\/en\/faq\/payment-of-the-application-fee\/\">Read more \u2192<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>State-Funded training and state-Scholarship <\/strong>(only\u00a0 EU citizens are entitled )<\/h4>\n<p>If the Doctoral College admits the applicant to state-funded full-time training &#8211; based on the results achieved during the entrance exam, &#8211; the training is free for the student, and he\/she also receives a monthly stipend. A doctoral student can receive a Hungarian state scholarship for <strong>a maximum of 48 months<\/strong> (only EU citizens are entitled). The amount of the scholarship is different for the training and research, as well as for the research and dissertation phase, and is determined by the National Higher Education Act in force at all times. The State-scholarship request has to be indicated during the online application. The award of the scholarship depends on the result of the entrance exam. Holders of the state scholarships are not entitled to TAJ card (social security insurance code) in Hungary.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>Monthly stipend available for Hungarian and EU citizens:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>1-4. semesters: 140 000 HUF\/month<\/li>\n<li>5-8. semesters: 180 000 HUF\/month<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Downloads:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/phd\/files\/2023\/09\/Student_training_contract_for_students_receiving_state_scholarship-2025.docx\">Tuition contract for state-granted PhD students<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We kindly ask students to pay close attention to ensuring that their <strong>personal data is always kept up to date in Neptun<\/strong>. It is especially important to update <strong>bank account<\/strong> information in a timely manner, as once scholarships have been transferred, the University is no longer able to recall the payment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>After submitting a data modification request in Neptun<\/strong>, please make sure to notify the staff of the Doctoral Office and the Financial Management Unit of the Doctoral School, as Neptun does not send notifications about these requests to the staff.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Tuition fee (self-financed PHD and MD-PHD training):<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The amount of self-financed student costs is determined by the University Doctoral Council with the agreement of the Doctoral Student Union.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuition fee for the Divisions&#8217; international self-financed students<\/strong> (with supervisor from Semmelweis University): 8 000 EUR\/semester<\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Tuition Fee for the international self-financed students of the cross-divisional Translational Medicine Program:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> 10 000 EUR\/semester<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Discounted tuition fee for Semmelweis University international graduates:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> 50%<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Untrained candidates with consultans from Semmmelweis University:<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\"> 97 500 HUF\/semester<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"GroupWiseSection_1614767710000_tolgyesi_lovasz.krisztina@phd.semmelweis-univ.hu_8940760118CF0000B0E8000000000000_\" class=\"GroupWiseMessageBody active\">\n<h5>Reduction of tuition fee for the Divisions&#8217; programs<\/h5>\n<p>A cooperation agreement may be concluded between the student, his\/her supervisor and their employers regarding the support of the payment of self-financed costs of the student participating in the self-financed PhD training. The amount of the cost can be reduced by a maximum of 80%, when 20% of the cost payable is due to the Doctoral College.<\/p>\n<p>If the amount of the cost paid by the PhD student exceeds 20%, the Doctoral College provides the part above 20% for the material use of the student&#8217;s research work. Based on the cooperation agreement, the student undertakes to fulfil his\/her study and examination obligations, fulfils his\/her tasks, and the supervisor undertakes to direct the student&#8217;s work and ensure the availability of the amount of the current semester&#8217;s cost specified in the agreement during the training in the form of the material and research conditions necessary for the PhD training. If the student fails to comply with his\/her training obligations, he\/she is obliged to reimburse the amount of the subsidy provided.<\/p>\n<p>The condition for reducing the tuition fee is the submission of the Trilateral Agreement when enrolling for the 1st semester.\u00a0The 3 copies have to be signed with <strong>blue<\/strong> ballpoint pen!\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>Due dates:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>in the fall 30th September,<\/li>\n<li>in the spring 28th Febrary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Downloads:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/phd\/files\/2024\/09\/TRILATERAL-AGREEMENT-EUR.doc\">Trilateral agreement for self-financing PhD students<\/a> (EUR)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #313b40;font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;font-size: 22px;text-transform: uppercase\">Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/phd\/en\/admission\/stipendium-hungaricum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stipendium Hungaricum (SH)<\/a>, the most prestigious <strong>higher education scholarship program<\/strong>\u00a0of the Hungarian Government. The program is <strong>based on bilateral educational cooperation agreements<\/strong> signed between the Ministries responsible for education in the sending countries\/territories and Hungary or between institutions.
