C\u00e9lunk olyan vegy\u00fcletek fejleszt\u00e9se, amelyek potenci\u00e1lis \u00f6reged\u00e9slass\u00edt\u00f3 hat\u00e1sokat k\u00e9pesek kifejteni, \u00edgy seg\u00edtve az idegi funkci\u00f3k meg\u0151rz\u00e9s\u00e9t \u00e9s a szellemi teljes\u00edtm\u00e9ny szinten tart\u00e1s\u00e1t. K\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen \u00e9rdekes ter\u00fclet sz\u00e1munkra a fenil-amin sz\u00e1rmaz\u00e9kok szerepe, mivel bizonyos vegy\u00fcletek nyomnyi mennyis\u00e9gben is k\u00e9pesek lehetnek j\u00f3t\u00e9kony hat\u00e1sokat kifejteni. A neurodegenerat\u00edv folyamatok, amelyek gyakoribb\u00e1 v\u00e1lhatnak az id\u0151sebb koroszt\u00e1ly k\u00f6r\u00e9ben, komoly m\u00e9rt\u00e9kben hozz\u00e1j\u00e1rulhatnak a neurop\u00e1ti\u00e1s f\u00e1jdalmak kialakul\u00e1s\u00e1hoz, \u00edgy a f\u00e1jdalomcsillap\u00edt\u00e1s hat\u00e9konys\u00e1ga nemcsak a f\u00e1jdalom, hanem a kognit\u00edv eg\u00e9szs\u00e9g szempontj\u00e1b\u00f3l is fontos.
