Adolescent (14-18 years old)<\/h1>\n

This\u00a0 group\u00a0 is\u00a0 designed\u00a0 to\u00a0 meet\u00a0 the\u00a0 needs\u00a0 of\u00a0 school\u00a0 aged\u00a0 children\u00a0 and\u00a0 adults\u00a0 all\u00a0 over\u00a0 the\u00a0 year.\u00a0 During\u00a0 the\u00a0 few-week\u00a0 period\u00a0 they\u00a0 focus\u00a0 on\u00a0 improving\u00a0 their\u00a0 movement\u00a0 skills\u00a0 as\u00a0 well\u00a0 as\u00a0 everyday\u00a0 life\u00a0 skills\u00a0 what\u00a0 they\u00a0 can\u00a0 build\u00a0 into\u00a0 their\u00a0 daily\u00a0 routine\u00a0 at\u00a0 home<\/strong>\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 most\u00a0 independent\u00a0 way. <\/span>Adolescents have unique needs and goals, so it’s important to tailor the program to their specific requirements while addressing physical, cognitive, and social aspects of their development.
\nHere’s an outline for such a program:<\/p>\n

Week 1: Assessment and Orientation<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Initial Assessment:<\/strong> Begin with a comprehensive assessment of each adolescent’s abilities, including motor skills, communication, cognitive development, and social interaction. Assessments should be adapted to their age and developmental stage.<\/li>\n
