The Andr\u00e1s Pet\u0151 Faculty of Semmelweis University was proudly represented at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the European Academy of Childhood Disability (EACD). The faculty\u2019s delegation included Andrea Zsebe PhD (Dean), Andrea Benyovszky PhD (Lecturer), and Erika Kolumb\u00e1n (Lecturer). During the scientific event, the two lecturers successfully presented poster exhibitions focusing on the methodology and latest advancements in conductive education. Beyond their academic presentations, the delegation engaged in high-level international discussions, further strengthening the faculty’s global network and fostering future collaborative partnerships in the field of rehabilitation and special education.<\/p>\n[slb_exclude]

The EACD (European Academy of Childhood Disability) conference is one of the world’s most prestigious multidisciplinary scientific events dedicated to childhood-onset disabilities. Its primary importance lies in fostering international collaboration and bridging the gap between medical and educational fields, ensuring that participating institutions stay at the forefront of global standards to ultimately improve the quality of life and care for children with disabilities worldwide.<\/p>\n
