The Ambassador met with the Faculty leadership to discuss the possibility of restarting the previous Syrian conductive education project.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, representatives of the Faculty presented its structure and operations, discussed international relations, available services, and Conductive Education itself. The presentation also showcased the Syrian project launched in 2008, which ran for several years, during which our Faculty&#8217;s colleagues assisted Syrians living with Cerebral Palsy in a development centre in Damascus.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-12725 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/pak\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_2690-300x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/pak\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_2690-300x400.jpg 300w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/pak\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_2690-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/pak\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_2690-753x1004.jpg 753w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/pak\/files\/2025\/10\/IMG_2690-rotated.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During the visit, Bashar Shamarah personally observed the early intervention, kindergarten, and adult groups, thus seeing the implementation of Conductive Education live. In the subsequent discussion, he expressed his strong desire to successfully relaunch the previous project and for conductors to travel to Syria again to help those in need.
