{"id":978,"date":"2019-05-24T12:03:12","date_gmt":"2019-05-24T10:03:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/oktatasmodszertan\/?page_id=978"},"modified":"2022-11-07T10:46:53","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T09:46:53","slug":"about-the-center","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/oktatasmodszertan\/en\/about-us\/about-the-center\/","title":{"rendered":"About the Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Center of Educational Development, Methodology and Organization is a central unit at our university whose goal is to <strong>support departments and clinics in their educational work<\/strong> through providing services for teachers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The departments of the Center are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>E-learning and Digital Content Development Directorate<\/li>\n<li>Department of Educational Development and Organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The main tasks of the Center are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATIONAL METHODOLOGY<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>organizing trainings for teachers in educational methodology<\/li>\n<li>offering methodological assistance for teachers (in-person and departmental level)<\/li>\n<li>organizing forums for teachers in pedagogical topics<\/li>\n<li>informing teachers about pedagogical and ITC solutions and trends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>E-LEARNING<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>organizing trainings for teachers in digital learning<\/li>\n<li>managing Moodle (e-learning platform) and Semmelweis University Central Authentication (SeKA)<\/li>\n<li>managing the repository of study materials<\/li>\n<li>ensuring the development of graphic and video elements of educational materials<\/li>\n<li>coordinating and supporting the development of e-learning materials<\/li>\n<li>coordinating the acquisiton and use of technical tools for educational purposes<\/li>\n<li>preparing and updating the Digital Learning Strategy of the university<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>OTHER<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>contributing to the collection of student feedback on teachers\u2019 performance and the evaluation of teachers\u2019 work<\/li>\n<li>collecting and publishing the curricula and exam requirements of different subjects<\/li>\n<li>coordinating the development of new subjects and their curricula<\/li>\n<li>facilitating the harmonization of cross-curricular content<\/li>\n<li>monitoring and evaluating the teaching activities of clinics and departments<\/li>\n<li>organising teaching programmes in areas defined by the Rector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The main objective of the Center of Educational Development, Methodology and Organization is to improve education through supporting teachers at our university.
