The purpose of their official stay in Hungary was to sign a bilateral agreement with the Ministry of Human Capacities in the field of higher education.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-7910\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2016\/02\/RS43874_TZ_20160129_255-scr-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"RS43874_TZ_20160129_255-scr\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>The delegation was received by Dr. Gy\u00f6rgy Bagdy, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, who briefly introduced Semmelweis University, its English and German language programmes and statistics regarding education and the number of students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have signed an agreement with the Ministry of Human Capacities on launching a scholarship programme, which will enable our students of agriculture and medicine to study in Hungary.\u201d . Anila Statovci-Demaj said.<\/p>\n<p>In the field of medicine and health care three students from Kosovo can study in Hungary with the help of the programme.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. P\u00e9ter Hermann, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs gave a detailed account of the university\u2019s academic programmes, the application procedure and the requirements which are of high level in case of both Hungarian and foreign students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSemmelweis University\u2019s School of PhD Studies, the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences still have some free capacities to receive students from Kosovo, however the details have to be discussed with the respective faculties.\u201d, Dr. Pop Marcel, Director of International Relations said.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7909\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2016\/02\/RS43868_TZ_20160129_233-scr.jpg\" alt=\"RS43868_TZ_20160129_233-scr\" width=\"950\" height=\"633\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of the most popular faculties in Kosovo is that of pharmacy, therefore there are several times more applications than available seats.\u201d, the deputy minister said.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, Stipendium Hungaricum, the Hungarian scholarship programme would create a great opportunity for talented students to start their studies at Semmelweis University\u2019s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurther opportunities present themselves with the involvement of the Faculty of Health and Public Administration, which is the most outstanding centre of health care management in the Central European region.\u201d, Dr. Gy\u00f6rgy Bagdy added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was concluded by the mutual agreement of both parties on the appointment of contact persons from both sides.
