Accompanying President Moideen was Mr. Akbar Moideen, director of the University\u2019s GMC Hospitals and Mr. Vinod Abraham, assistant director of external and international affairs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The visitors started their day at the Basic Medical Science Centre, where they were received by Vice-Rector for Education and International Affairs Mikl\u00f3s Kellermayer and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Hunyady.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The GMU delegation\u2019s visit continued at the 1st Department of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research, where Director Andr\u00e1s Matolcsy gave a tour of the institute and demonstrated its cutting-edge 3D microscopy system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Having been given a brief introduction to the University, the delegation was then received by Rector Tivadar Tulassay for official discussions and the signing of the memorandum of understanding. The meeting, which took place in the Senate Hall, was also attended by Vice-Rector Mikl\u00f3s Kellermayer, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Istv\u00e1n Kar\u00e1di, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Zsuzsanna T\u00f3th, as well as Diplomat of Cultural Affairs B\u00e9la Velez from the Hungarian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and Dr. P\u00e9ter T\u00f3th from the University\u2019s 2nd Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1017\" title=\"President Thumbay Moideen and Rector Tivadar Tulassay exchange the signed MOUs\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/files\/2011\/04\/img_7354-cropped-good-1023x645.jpg\" alt=\"President Thumbay Moideen and Rector Tivadar Tulassay exchange the signed MOUs\" width=\"537\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The visit came to a close at the Faculty of Health Sciences, which included an introduction to the Faculty and tour of the building by Dean Judit M\u00e9sz\u00e1ros.
