As part of its commitment to strengthening employee well-being and fostering a healthier university community, Semmelweis University is launching a new series of open training programs for staff members through the Competence Centre of the Directorate General for Strategic Organizational Development.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\n

The initiative is closely connected to the work of the EUniWell alliance and highlights the university\u2019s continued efforts to promote mental health, resilience, and well-being in higher education. Through the university\u2019s EUniWell project support and funding provided by the Hungarian National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH), Semmelweis is expanding access to evidence-based well-being and professional development opportunities for its employees.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The first program launched within this framework is the Williams LifeSkills\u00ae stress management training, a practice-oriented program designed to help participants develop effective stress management techniques, communication skills, and self-awareness tools supporting both everyday work and long-term well-being. The program is rooted in evidence-based methodologies and was adapted into Hungarian with the involvement of experts from the Institute of Behavioural Sciences at Semmelweis University.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Participation in the W\u00c9K trainings is voluntary, and applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. For employees, participation requires approval from their direct supervisor, while colleagues with leadership responsibilities may apply independently. <\/span>The program does not provide academic credit and is only available in Hungarian. <\/span>Currently, free places are still available for the following training dates:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
