{"id":3445,"date":"2018-03-05T08:52:10","date_gmt":"2018-03-05T07:52:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/?p=3445"},"modified":"2018-03-08T11:26:34","modified_gmt":"2018-03-08T10:26:34","slug":"call-for-applications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/2018\/03\/05\/call-for-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for applications &#8211; University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>T<\/strong><strong>he University of Western Ontario Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and Semmelweis University <\/strong>have entered into a student exchange agreement to provide a 4-week-long clinical rotation for two 5th year students between<br \/>\n<strong>01 July and 31 July 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Students are expected to cover:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Round trip air transportation<\/li>\n<li>Health insurance<\/li>\n<li>Medical liability insurance<\/li>\n<li>Living expenses<\/li>\n<li>Cost of visa<\/li>\n<li>Cost of general medical examination and vaccines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Period of clinical rotation: 4 weeks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0<strong>Requirements for applying:<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>(all documents are to be submitted in English)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Completed Application Form<\/li>\n<li>Motivation letter<\/li>\n<li>Curriculum Vitae<\/li>\n<li>English credit transcript from year 1 onwards and statement of medical student status<\/li>\n<li>Letter of recommendation from two different Heads of Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A thorough knowledge of the English language is a must, scientific work performed is an advantage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The Application Form can be downloaded from <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2018\/03\/palyadatlap-2017_18.doc\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The options for the clinical departments can be found:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">(please give at least 3-4 options)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.schulich.uwo.ca\/departments\/index.html\">http:\/\/www.schulich.uwo.ca\/departments\/index.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The candidates will participate in an interview in English, the date of which will be communicated by e-mail.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><u>Deadline for applications: 29 March 2018<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The application can be submitted personally at the Directorate of International Relations (1085 Budapest, \u00dcll\u0151i \u00fat 26, 2nd floor, Room 202) between 9:00 AM and 15:00 PM.
