Members include teachers, educators, researchers, administrators, curriculum developers, deans, assessors, students and trainees in medicine and the healthcare professions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Working with other organisations, it supports teachers and institutions in their current educational activities, in curriculum development, teaching and learning methods, assessment techniques and educational management, in response to advances in medicine, changes in healthcare delivery, patient demands and new educational thinking and techniques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn btn-secondary\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amee.org\/home\">GO TO the SITE OF AMEE<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify\">Consortium of Institutes of Higher Education in Health Care and Rehabilitation in Europe (COHEHRE)<\/h4>\n<div class=\"lead\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-28941 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/cohehre-logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"125\" \/><\/p>\n<p>COHEHRE, established in 1990, is a non-profit organization bringing together students and academic staff from member higher education institutions across Europe.\u00a0 We are committed to promoting, developing and supporting <strong>interprofessional learning<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>teaching<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>research<\/strong>\u00a0as well as improving\u00a0<strong>collaborative practice<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>enhancing strategic management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">They are committed to promoting, developing and supporting interprofessional learning,\u00a0teaching\u00a0and\u00a0research\u00a0as well as improving\u00a0collaborative practice\u00a0and\u00a0enhancing strategic management. The consortium provides networking opportunities, information sharing, the exchange of best practices and\u00a0experiences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn btn-secondary\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cohehre.com\/\">GO TO THE SITE OF COHEHRE<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify\">Danube Rectors&#8217; Conference (drc)<\/h4>\n<div class=\"lead\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-28946 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/drc-logo-300x107.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"107\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/drc-logo-300x107.jpg 300w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/drc-logo.jpg 560w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>DRC was founded in 1983 and currently has 65 member universities in the Danube Region. Their goal is to improve higher education in teaching and research in this region, in particular the advancement of member universities, by establishing and facilitating bilateral and multilateral contacts between the universities.<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">DRC <span style=\"font-size: 1rem;text-align: left\">coordinates the ideas and actions of its members through the exchange of information on issues of common interest and<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;text-align: left\"> promotes cooperation on issues of common interest thereby contributing to the stability and the development of an open and democratic society in Europe,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn btn-secondary\" href=\"https:\/\/www.drc-danube.org\/\">GO TO THE SITE OF DRC<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>EUROLIFE<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/eurolife.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-29038\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/eurolife.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>Eurolife is a network of nine prestigious academic institutions and European centres with world-wide research excellence reputation in Biomedicine and Medicine across Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It promotes and facilitates collaborative research,\u00a0joint postgraduate training and education, the\u00a0exchange of researchers and students\u00a0and the\u00a0building of joint research projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In 2020, the consortium was awarded the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership grant to realize DATAETHICS, a joint transnational project, which aims to update the conceptual and ethical considerations arising from Biomedical Big Data (BBD) collection and use.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn btn-secondary\" href=\"https:\/\/eurolifeuniversities.org\/\">GO TO THE SITE OF EUROLIFE<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>European Health Management Association (EHMA)<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/Logo-EHMA-600x600-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-29040\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/Logo-EHMA-600x600-1-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"158\" height=\"158\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/Logo-EHMA-600x600-1-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/Logo-EHMA-600x600-1-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/Logo-EHMA-600x600-1.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 158px) 100vw, 158px\" \/><\/a><strong>EHMA is the only membership organisation in Europe to bring together health and hospital managers, healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, academia, policy and decision makers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The organization plays a crucial role in engaging with the full ecosystem of European health management system and is open to those committed to improving health and healthcare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn btn-secondary\" href=\"https:\/\/ehma.org\/\">GO TO THE SITE OF EHMA<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY ASSOCIATION (EUA)<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/eua-logo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-29036\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/eua-logo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"151\" height=\"151\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/eua-logo.png 225w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/eua-logo-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 151px) 100vw, 151px\" \/><\/a><strong>EUA represents more than 800 universities and national rectors\u2019 conferences in 48 European countries. It plays a crucial role in the Bologna Process and in influencing EU policies on higher education, research and innovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It provides opportunities for members to share best practices by participating in projects, events and other mutual-learning activities involving a wide range of universities. The Association also provides members with unique opportunities to shape European policies and initiatives affecting higher education and research.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn btn-secondary\" href=\"https:\/\/eua.eu\/\">GO TO THE SITE OF EUA<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify\">Hungarian Medical Association of America (HMAA)<\/h4>\n<div class=\"lead\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-28943 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/HMAA-logo-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/HMAA-logo-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/HMAA-logo.png 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/>HMAA is a voluntary organization of physicians and scientists of Hungarian heritage formed to preserve, promote, and foster Hungarian medical traditions and ideals. Its <strong>major goal<\/strong> is to promote and disseminate knowledge of clinical medicine and basic medical sciences by annual scientific meetings, lectures, discussions, publications, and other means.\u00a0<\/div>\n<p>The cooperation between Semmelweis University, the medical faculties of Debrecen, P\u00e9cs, Szeged, Budapest and the State University of New York, Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences was launched in the 1980s with the assistance of the HMAA. So far more than 300 Hungarian medical students have participated in internships in the United States. It is one of the oldest overseas mobility programs in Hungarian medical education and it offers 16 Hungarian medical students the opportunity to spend a 3-month internship in the United States each year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In November 2015, Semmelweis University also signed the agreement extending the cooperation, which also gives students of dentistry the opportunity to join the program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn btn-secondary\" href=\"https:\/\/hmaa.org\/\">GO TO THE SITE OF HMAA<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify\">International Association of Universities (IAU)<\/h4>\n<div class=\"lead\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-28944 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/iau-logo-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><span class=\"sigle\">The International Association of Universities was<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"presentation\">created under the auspices of UNESCO in 1950. It is a membership-based organisation serving the global higher education community.<\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0IAU convenes and connects Members from more than 130 countries to identify, reflect and act on common priorities. It acts as the\u00a0global voice of higher education to a wide range of international and inter-governmental organizations, in particular to UNESCO.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"btn btn-secondary\" href=\"https:\/\/www.iau-aiu.net\/\">GO TO THE SITE OF IAU<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify\">UNICA \u2013 Network of Universities from the Capitals of Europe<\/h4>\n<div class=\"lead\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-28968\" src=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/Unica-only-loog.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/Unica-only-loog.png 225w, https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/nki\/files\/2022\/01\/Unica-only-loog-150x150.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>UNICA was founded in 1990 to facilitate international collaborations and to promote academic leadership through understanding and sharing between universities located in European capitals. Its aim is to promote cooperation and joint application activities between the member\u00a0 universities in these areas: internationalisation and mobility, RDI, doctoral training, education development, university management and development strategies, social responsibility.<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">UNICA has so far worked mainly on educational methodology and international mobility projects.
