The system generates the ID by using the user\u2019s name, mother\u2019s name, date of birth. You cannot change it, and you can not request another one. The password is usually created in the following way: the word \u201eNe\u201d and the user\u2019s date of birth in a YYYYMMDD format, where Y stands for: \u201eyear\u201d, M stands for \u201eMonth\u201d and D stands for \u201eDay\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>After logging in for the first time, the data are protected; therefore, the user must create a new password for future use. University students will receive their Neptun identification from the Registrar\u2019s Office or from the Dean\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Employees of the university (such as teachers, administrators who work for the offices, etc., see the Neptun Rules and Regulations manual) may only require their Neptun ID and their Neptun rights via email from the Neptun team by filling in the <a href=\"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/neptun\/files\/2019\/10\/Jogosults\u00e1g-ig\u00e9nyl\u0151-adatlap-a-Neptun-rendszerhez-\u00faj.docx\">following form.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Neptun &#8211; What happens if you forget your password?<\/h2>\n<p>If you have forgotten your password in any case, please send an <a href=\"mailto:pekli.andrea@semmelweis.hu;horvath.ildiko@semmelweis.hu\">email<\/a> to the Neptun Group.<\/p>\n<p>When you send an email, please put the following information in the email message:<\/p>\n<p>Your name (based on your official document), Neptun code, your date of birth, your mother\u2019s name and the education that you take part in if you are a student. If you are an employee of Semmelweis University, then please send the name of the department where you are employed at. These data are essential for identifying the individual. This is how we can avoid another person to request a change of your password or ID. Please send your request from the university email address!<\/p>\n<p>We will notify you of the changes with regard to getting access to Neptun within one working day.<\/p>\n<h2>Neptun &#8211; Two-factor authentication<\/h2>\n<p>If you have deleted the application or changed the device, or if you have damaged or disabled Two-factor authentication, please send an email from your university email address to <a href=\"mailto:neptun@semmelweis.hu\">e-mail<\/a> to the Neptun Group, in which you send your name (based on your official document), Neptun code, the training you are attending, so that we can cancel your registration.
