\u2013 9th International Conference on Electrospinning<\/strong>, held in Padua, Italy, where they presented a total of <strong>three posters and five oral presentations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The research topics presented at the conference covered a broad range of applications of electrospinning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The members of our research group and their presentations were:<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Sarolta Halm\u00f3czki<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Multifunctional electrospun polysuccinimide scaffolds combining ZnO and magnetite nanoparticles for biomedical applications<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>\u00c1kos Juh\u00e1sz<\/strong> \u2013 <em>From electrospun microchannels to translational biomimetic scaffolds: process optimization and characterization of self-assembling peptide-based constructs<\/em><br \/>\n(Postdoctoral research: Ospedale Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza, Milan)<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Krist\u00f3f Moln\u00e1r<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Synthesis and spinning properties of hydrogel fiber membranes<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>M\u00f3nika Nanys<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Electrospun nanofibrous scaffolds for potential wound healing applications: effects of salt and humidity<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Vivien Rizmajer<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Development and characterisation of polymer nanofibers containing magnetite particles<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Don\u00e1t Szalai<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Investigation of the swelling kinetics of submicron- and micron-sized hydrogel fibrous meshes<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Poster presentation \u2013 2nd place<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Viktor Szil\u00e1gyi<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Optimizing Electrospun Cellulose-Based Scaffolds: Electric Field Design and Material Modifications for Biomedical Applications<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Veronika T\u00f3th-P\u00e1los<\/strong> \u2013 <em>Preparation and characterization of polysuccinimide-salt nanofibrous systems for wound healing applications<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We are especially proud that Don\u00e1t Szalai\u2019s poster presentation was awarded 2nd place, providing further international recognition of the research group\u2019s scientific work.<\/p>\n<p>Electrospin 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to present our latest research findings, strengthen international scientific collaborations, and exchange knowledge and experience with researchers and professionals working in the field of electrospinning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1514
