{"id":2010,"date":"2014-07-10T09:32:08","date_gmt":"2014-04-29T09:57:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/mutettan\/?page_id=2010"},"modified":"2024-04-10T15:23:42","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T13:23:42","slug":"kheiron-training-system-kts-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/mutettan\/en\/research-projects\/projects\/kheiron-training-system-kts-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Kheiron Training System &#8211; KTS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>E-Learning Serious Game for Surgical Skills Training: Kherion Training System (KTS)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The main objective of KTS project is to design, to develop and to validate a serious game and the supporting material in order to provide medical students and (novel) surgeons with an innovative ICT-based approach for training basic key psychomotor skills in minimally invasive surgery (MIS).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The KTS serious game will be based on existing training tasks accomplished in a training box (denominated &#8222;box-trainer&#8221;) so surgical skills training process will be enhanced through ICT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The KTS serious game will be based on existing training tasks accomplished in a training box so surgical skills training process will be enhanced through ICT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Expert knowledge and mentoring system from specialized training centers will be accessible fortrainees worldwide including distance learning and open educational resources.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The e-learning based serious game will not only provide time and cost reduction in surgical education but will allow a more flexible approach for training basic key psychomotor skills.
