Rules of the written exam

  • Written exams are conducted within the framework of distance learning using the Moodle system.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to check in advance that they have access to the course from which they wish to take a written examination in the Moodle system. If the student does not have access to the appropriate course in the Moodle system, he / she must notify the secretariat of the Institute of Behavioral Sciences at the e-mail address titkarsag.magatartastudomány@semmelweis-univ.hu at least 48 hours before the start of the exam.
  • Only those who have previously registered through the Neptun system can take the written exam.
  • Registration for or cancellation of exams can be done no later than 12.00 on the day before the day of the exam, in order to allow enough time for proper technical preparation.
  • The written exam is conducted under Zoom supervision. Students who apply for the exam will receive a link to the Zoom meeting in the second half of the day before the exam (after 12:00 pm) in the form of a Neptune message.
  • Students must log in to the Zoom meeting associated with the exam at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the exam and provide a continuous live image and sound of themselves during the exam.
  • If the connection between the candidate and the examiner is broken – ie the candidate leaves the exam, or the video signal is switched off – the examiner closes the examination with the entry “not appeared”. In this case, the number of examination opportunities for the candidate is reduced by one.
  • The candidate must not use a headset or headphones / earphones during the distance test.
  • In a written exam, the student’s identity is verified by presenting his or her student ID card so that the student ID card number can be read.
  • The instructor will take a screenshot of the presented student IDs, which will be kept until the end of the examination period of the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year.
  • A video recording will be made of the exam in the Zoom application, which will be kept by the system for 3 days.
  • Neither the examiner nor the candidate may transmit, share, or make available online communication related to the distance exam to an unauthorized person.
